One of my favorite verses in the bible is Jeremiah 29:11. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Sometimes we think that we know everything and we do not need Jesus.  But really, God has a plan for each and every one of us!  What you think might be a bad idea, just might be what God wants you to do!  His plan for each one of us is totally unique!

I have been reading the book of Ephesians lately. It is probably my favorite book in the bible right now next to Proverbs of course.  Ephesians 2:10 says, "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."  We are his creation and we are created to show his love and preach the good news!

Ephesians 6:11-12 says, "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."  We should not give into tempations into this world and stand strong in the Word of God!

I love to litsening to music. Sometimes you love to just jam out to your favorite tunes on the radio. My favorite radio station is K-Love Radio. They have such amazing Christian and Gospel music. It is so uplifting to just turn on the radio and hear wonderful songs that are so postive.       I love that moment when you are listening to your favorite song the radio and you feel God's presense and you are so happy! That is such a wonderful feeling. Or when you hear or read something that is a lyric to a song and you start humming the song.
Music is such a great uplifter. When you are bored, just sing along to your favorite songs!

Have you ever been disappionted when you cannot buy something you really want but do not need?  Or when you simply know you have to have that piece of jewelry?  Well, maybe you don't.  Maybe today when you look at something you think you need, say no.  We all have more stuff then we can really handle.  I mean, do we really need to have three iPod's?  Can't we just be satisfied with one?
With so many stores and little shops available, we have endless things to purchase.  America wants you to buy the new product, the lastest techology, and whatever else they have to sell!
We should appriciate all we have!  We all have much more then we truely need!  Be thankful and grateful for all you have on this day!  Happy Easter!

Friends Matter

Friends are such an important part of your life.  They give you support and confidence when you need it.  Even on those tough days, your best friend is always there for you.  Friends matter to us.  When your sad or just not feeling good, your best friend is just a call away.
Without a best friend, loneliness can creep it's way in.  Friends are really so important in your life.  There are your study buddy, helping you with your homework when you just cannot think anymore.  They are your texting teammate, chatting with you about funny things that only you and your friend will understand.  They are special to you.
Friends matter to us.
